Our Children

At Verity Shores, we provide Children’s Guides that explain who we are and what we do in a clear, simple, and reassuring way.

From the very first referral, we take great care to ensure each placement is the right fit. Every child or young person is thoughtfully considered, especially when new children join our home, so that everyone has the best chance to settle, feel safe, and succeed.

We use clear and straightforward risk assessments for every child or young person. These help us agree on personalised care and behaviour support plans, allowing us to truly understand each child — what they enjoy, what challenges them, and how best to support them.

Our priority at Verity Shores is always the well-being, safety, and care of the children we support. Alongside this, we create space for joy and growth through fun days out, activities, creative projects, time in nature, practical learning, and sports. Children are encouraged to make their bedrooms their own, receive agreed pocket money, enjoy holidays during the year, and take part in experiences that help them feel confident and valued.

We are consistent, respectful, and dependable. We work hard to keep every child safe, supported, and understood and we always have their back, even during the moments when they find it hardest to let us in.
